Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to the Groupe Rousselet website, where you will find information about our Groupe and its subsidiary companies.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully for use of www.grouperousselet.com.

Note, they apply to this website only — not to any other of Groupe Rousselet subsidiary company websites. They have their own T&Cs, to which you should refer.
 

Definitions

Content: refers to all the constituent elements and information that make up this Website, including text, images and videos.

Personal Information: refers to “information that allows, in any form whatsoever, directly or indirectly, the physical persons to which it applies to be identified” (Article 4 of French Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended).

User Information (hereafter referred to as “Information”: refers more broadly to all data that may be collected by the Website from Users, including their Personal Information, for usere relation management as well as for analysis and statistical purposes.

User: refers to any person, whether a capable natural person within the meaning of Articles 1145 et seq. of the French Civil Code (Code Civil) or a legal entity, browsing the Website that is subject of these Terms and Conditions.

Access to and use of this Website is for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Use of the https://www.grouperousselet.com website implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. They may be modified or supplemented at any time. They are nonetheless binding on Users, who are invited to consult them regularly.

Groupe Rousselet endeavours to ensure that the Website can be accessed at all times. However, the Groupe cannot be held liable in the event that the Website is unavailable, for whatever reason.

The information contained in the pages of this Website is offered in good faith. It is believed to be correct at the time of publication.

This information is not exhaustive and is for guidance only. It is subject to change at any time and without prior notice.

Groupe Rousselet endeavours to ensure that this information is accurate and current. However, it shall not be held liable for any omissions, inaccuracies or failures to update information, whether through its own fault or that of any partners supplying such information.

Groupe Rousselet also disclaims all liability for any use that may be made by others of the content of the Website.


4. Intellectual property

The Website constitutes an intellectual work that is protected by the provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code (Code de la Propriété Intellectuelle).

All trademarks, logos and distinctive signs, whether or not they are registered as trademarks, all photographs, texts, comments, illustrations, animated or non-animated images, video sequences and sounds, as well as all computer applications that may be used to operate the Website and, more generally, all elements reproduced or used on the Website, are protected by the intellectual property laws in force.

They are the full and complete property of the Publisher or of third parties who have authorized the publisher to distribute and reproduce their own elements on the Website. 7. Personal data protection

Groupe Rousselet endeavours to comply with all the personal data protection and security provisions applicable to Users of the Website and to ensure that the collection and processing of data from the Website is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: EU Regulation 2016/679) and French Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, data files and civil liberties, as amended.

In this respect, Groupe Rousselet acts as Data Controller (as defined in the GDPR).


7.1. Collection of Personal Data 

Personal Data is collected when Users browse the Website and if they fill in the online contact form. As Controller of the data it collects, Groupe Rousselet limits the collection of data to that which it deems appropriate, relevant and strictly necessary in order to provide information about the Groupe and its business activities.

•    Website login credentials and usage data relating to the User.
•    The User’s cookie preferences.
•    The User’s personal data (full name, email address) collected if they complete the online contact form. This data is necessary in order to respond to the request.


7.2 Purpose and processing of data collected

Data on the https://www.grouperousselet.com website is collected and processed for the following purposes:
•    Improving Website navigation and contacting people interested in Groupe Rousselet and its business activities.
•    Learning more about the types of Users visiting the Website, where applicable through statistical analysis of anonymized data.
•    Communication through outreach campaigns (email, news) about Groupe Rousselet and its business activities, if the User has given consent.

Groupe Rousselet does not sell the personal data it collects, but only uses it for the purposes described above.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions of Use of the Website are governed by French law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Versailles Court of Appeal, subject to any specific attribution of jurisdiction arising from a particular legal or statutory text.
