HOMEBOX

HOMEBOX is the leader in secure, flexible storage solutions in France for businesses and consumers.

A Groupe Rousselet subsidiary, HomeBox opened its first self-storage center in France in 1996, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. Since then the company has grown at a fast pace and now offers a network of 135 locations not only throughout France, but also in Spain, Portugal, Germany and Switzerland. HomeBox opens about 15 new locations a year to consolidate its leadership in France and Europe.

Safe and flexible storage

HomeBox offers a large range of storage units, from 2 to 50 square meters, accessible 24/7. To guarantee security, these centers are outfitted with access control, intrusion and fire detection systems, along with alarms and constant CCTV surveillance. HomeBox offers additional customer services, ranging from package reception to truck rental and help in preparing for a move.

Storage sharing services

In addition to its self-storage services, HomeBox also offers an innovative peer-to-peer storage solution. The company connects people looking to store their belongings with people who have extra space in their homes (basement, garage, attic, etc.) and acts as a trusted third-party intermediary between the host and renter, guaranteeing payments and providing insurance coverage for the goods stored.

Track & Trace: an app for more efficient waste management

HomeBox now offers the Track & Trace application to help large accounts better manage their waste. It allows them to check their point-of-sale advertising production and stocks so they can adjust capacity to actual requirements. The result is a significant decrease in waste. It’s a simple system: using bar codes, the sales & marketing staff identify the PoS advertising used. The app interfaces with an extranet that measures PoS advertising over time, by salesperson and by point of sale. They can then implement a strategy based on effective management of these materials.
