How can pharmaceutical companies ensure that their digital files will still exist in 50 years’ time and continue to be legible and maintain their legal value, particularly with regard to the courts and guardianship authorities?

To address these issues, French pharma Pierre Fabre asked the Novarchive Toulouse teams to equip the company with Novarchive’s electronic archiving system Novadoc.

The system operates autonomously. Files are fed into it from the company’s various departments and then tested and validated before being converted to an archiving format that ensures their long-term availability, with no time limit. The process is compliant with French archiving standards, so the legal value of any document fed into the system is guaranteed.

Between several hundred and several thousand files per day are ingested into Novarchive’s electronic archiving system.

Several of the company’s departments not yet using the system have recently contacted Novarchive to find out about implementing Novadoc for their archiving needs.
